SHE CAN FINALLY GAMBLE LEGALLY!!!!!!!!!
Backstory in case you can't read my god awful handwriting on the image aboveUber was born in Sui-no-Sato. She lived with her parents and 4 brothers who all lived strictly to the traditions of their home. Except Uber. The troubled child she was would always try to get into fights with the other children. Uber simply wanted to wrestle, but that was unladylike. Her mother held high expectations for Uber and constantly put her down for her misbehavior. Manipulative, vindictive, disobedient, liar, and indecent were among the many words her mother would describe her with. After a while, Uber just couldn’t stand the enmity between her and her mother so she threw the towel in. Uber began acting like a perfect little maiden of the village, quiet and submissive and ready to be married off to some random man to continue family traditions. Well, that’s at least what she wanted her family to think, she was secretly plotting a plan to run away from her oppressive village beneath the sea.

Somehow, the 12 year old Uber managed to successfully run off and stowaway in a confederate ship to Kugane. Broke as hell but experiencing peace of mind for the first time ever. Her first few weeks in Kugane were rough, she could barely make money and struggled to eat. In a moment of desperation, she sat down with some gambling fisherman and begged them to let her play. She was really in a “All or nothing” mindset those days. During this game however, Uber could kind of predict the plays of her opponents… Not in a strategic sense but in a “I can literally FORESEE it??” sense. At this moment, Uber realized she had the echo. And she was going to use it very wisely. She was going to use it to cheat in gambling. But… a 12 year old wasn’t exactly legally allowed to gamble in this region. So Uber used her winnings to buy and use glamour prisms to cast an illusion to make her appear as an adult, just so she could get into the big bars and casino where the real action happened. And so, she got rich. Ruined lives. Made folk broke. Lived lavishly. It was freeing.
Well until she got arrested. One particular day 3 months prior to the fall of Dalamud, Uber was playing against an off-duty Garlean envoy. The game was going fine, Uber was cheating her way through as always until a sudden rush of pain struck her mind. She was flooded with random incoherent visions (memories of those around her, her own, and visions of her own future as the Warrior of Light. When she became the Warrior of Light she was horrified by her visions becoming reality this is how I in-lore explain the couple of spoilers I had when first playing msq). Uber became horribly overwhelmed by the visions, causing her glamour to dispel and for her to totally throw the game. Uber had a good run, she had a couple months of glory and living for herself. The Garlean, realizing he was being absolutely destroyed by a child, had her arrested and all of her wealth stripped away from her. In order for Uber to pay for her many crimes against the people of kugane, the envoy took her back to Garlemald to be sentenced as a maidservant for the rest of her life. Uber would be taken in as a maid for the palace and marked with a title Aan to signify her low-status. She was now Suberu Aan Solterra.
For 5 years, Uber worked as a maid in Garlemald. Though, It was still a better life than Sui-no-Sato. The royal family drama was great. Uber loved being on dinner duty just to watch the family squabble. A hrothgar prisoner, “Mittens,” took good care of Uber, she taught her how to survive as a maid. Sure Uber still had to act obedient to get by and wasn’t living high and mighty like in Kugane, but hey she now had a friend. When Uber was 17, she and Mittens were sent with some nobles to Ala Mhigo for a routine trip. During the meeting, Mittens urged Uber to escape to Gridania, swearing the poor girl was meant for more than dusting off the emperor’s throne. Uber listened to her best friend’s advice and ran away.
Gridania would prove to be the beginning of Uber’s life as an adventurer, and would soon be the first chapter of her tale as the Warrior of Light.

Relationships (oh no)
To keep the reading light, I'll let you peruse the gallery below. Also its all so complicated, maybe in the future I'll update the site and go more in-depth.

Azem dolus

Lowkey under construction still as I'm still making stuff up for Azem :P
For some odd reason, Dolus was alone as a child. She lived off the outskirts of Amaurot in a small pit-stop town for travelers. Unlike all the ancients, Dolus was severely deficient in aether. Sure she had enough to be able to live, but she could barely utilize it for spells or creating concepts like all the other ancients seemed to enjoy doing. Her weak aether caused Dolus irises to be entirely dull, barely enough light in her soul to brighten her eyes. Left to fend for herself, Dolus often took small snacks and knick-knacks from travelers to get by. Dolus was particularly fond of stealing the recently developed glamour prisms that travelers occasionally carried. Dolus would use the prisms to cast illusions on herself or items to scam unsuspecting travelers. She was a sly little brat and willing to swindle anybody. Even the current 14th seat of the convocation…
When Dolus was barely a teenager, she saw the current Azem out on one of her travels. “Surely somebody of such high status will have something worthwhile…” Dolus thought to herself as she watched Azem traverse the region. So, Dolus cast her glamours on herself and a nearby tree, turning herself into a seemingly heroic lad and the tree into a small cabin. The simple plan from there was to anger a nearby concept and lead it to attack Azem. From there all Dolus had to do was “save” Azem from the raging beast, invite her to the cabin, and steal her stuff. Simple!
And so, things went as planned. Initially that is. Dolus “saved” Azem. And this particular Azem, Venat, was a bit more keen than Dolus would have hoped her to be. Venat was quick to recognize some sort of illusion cast on her hero but despite the apparent scheme, she was interested in what “he” was doing. Dolus, unaware of Venat seeing through her, thought things were going great! All according to plan, the current Azem was soon to lose all those relics and resources that will probably sell for a pretty penny. But hey, that’s soon to be money in Dolus’ pocket! Their meeting would go on, and eventually they both decided to go to sleep in the “cabin.” Except… both faked sleeping. Dolus, thinking Venat was asleep, would remove the glamours on herself and the trees and snatched all Venat’s stuff. Meanwhile, Venat discreetly watched in amusement as the young girl ran off with her belongings.
The next morning, Venat would find and confront Dolus as she tried to sell off her valuables. The little girl was stunned by Venat catching her. How could this adult woman skilled in all sorts of magic and survival skills see through this child’s master plan? By the gods it was baffling to Dolus. Nonetheless, Venat was rather impressed by the young girl’s audacity to attempt to rob somebody of her status. So much so she offered Dolus a place as her pupil. With truly nothing else in her life, Dolus accepted.
Dolus would travel with Venat throughout her youth and eventually be enrolled into Akadaemia Anyder where she would become best friends with Hythlodaeus and Hades. She was great at anything that required writing or debate (swindler of all time), but struggled severely in anything relating to using aether. After her Akadaemia days, she would become the ancient equivalent of a sleazy lawyer. Although you could often find her in the Hall of Rhetoric engaging in absurd debates or she’d be at the Bureau of the Architect visiting her besties. Eventually she would be the successor to Venat as Azem. How did she pass the convocation background check? Fraud.
Like azem like wol, both grew up scamming people and being caught. The only differences are the consequences..
Hydaelyn releasing Azem’s soul shards from the aetherial sea and, with a sigh, watching her being a little scammer all over again in the source.
